Our Process

  1. 01

    Project Walk & Scope Review

We walk the site with your super or PM, review plans and specs, and confirm scope — substrates, finishes, transitions, and any unusual conditions. You get an estimate that's tied to the actual conditions, not a guess from a drawing set.

  2. 02

    System & Material Spec

We confirm the plaster system — lath gauge, paper weight, base coat composition, finish texture — to match the architect's intent and your warranty requirements. Submittals delivered on time.

  3. 03

    Bid & Schedule Lock-In

Line-item bidding with no hidden carry-aheads. We commit to a schedule that integrates with framing, MEP rough-in, and finish-trade sequencing so we're not the bottleneck.

  4. 04

    Substrate & Lath Inspection

Before a single coat goes up, we inspect framing, weather barrier, paper laps, and lath attachment. We're sticklers about the substrate — it's where almost every plaster failure starts.

  5. 05

    Application — Scratch, Brown, Finish

Wet coats applied at proper thickness, in the right weather window, with full cure between coats. Crews trained in traditional 3-coat hand work and modern one-coat systems alike.

  6. 06

    Punch Walk & Sign-Off

Walkthrough with your super to catch any blowouts, cracks, or color and texture variation. We don't sign off until you do — and we don't leave punch items for the painter to inherit.

  7. 07

    Warranty & Follow-Up

Two-year workmanship warranty on every job. If something settles, cracks at a control joint, or needs attention down the road — call us, we come back. That's how relationships with the GCs we work with last 20+ years.
